The motorcycle made its global debut late last year at EICMA 2024.The test mule is identical to the model showcased at EICMA. In fact, the prototype also had a separate pillion seat. One of its design highlights is the girder suspension system up front, which is a modern rendition of the suspension setup that came on the original Flying Flea.Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 Right Side ViewWhile the Flying Flea C6 is primarily positioned as an urban motorcycle, it’s also capable of light-duty rides beyond the city. That said, Royal Enfield has clarified that the bike is not intended for long-distance touring. The motorcycle’s development has been carried out entirely in-house, and all future electric bikes from Royal Enfield will be launched under the Flying Flea brand name.Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 Left Side ViewThe Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 is built around an aluminium frame, with a magnesium battery casing integrated within. This not only helps improve cooling but also contributes to reducing the overall kerb weight.In terms of features, the Flying Flea C6 is equipped with a circular full-TFT display, offering a range of ride data. The display is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing it to connect seamlessly with a smartphone app. Interestingly, it also comes with traction control and cornering ABS, making it the first Royal Enfield to offer such advanced safety technologies.Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 Right Side ViewAs of now, the motorcycle’s specifications and details related to its battery capacity and electric motor are under wraps. Royal Enfield is expected to reveal these closer to launch. The Flying Flea C6 is slated for launch in 2026, which is when bookings will commence officially.
